We've Changed Our Name!
At our June 2014 Annual General Meeting (AGM), our Board and members voted to change the name of our organization to Disability Alliance BC.
We also have a new logo and tagline that speak to the importance of building strong connections both within and outside of the disability community.
We hope you like our new name. We're still doing the same work for the disability community; nothing else has changed.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Spring Advertising, who volunteered their time to help us develop our new name, logo and tagline (springadvertising.com).
For over 35 years, Disability Alliance BC has been a provincial, cross-disability voice in British Columbia.
Our mission is to support people, with all disabilities, to live with dignity, independence and as equal and full participants in the community. We champion issues impacting the lives of people with disabilities through our direct services, community partnerships, advocacy, research and publications.
